Washington Wizards point guard Austin Rivers is looking to score with the listing of his Pacific Palisades mansion for $7.495 million. Rivers—who was traded in June from the L.A. Clippers—is no longer in need of his Los Angeles-area home, so he’d like to make a $1.4 million return on his investment on his way out of town.
The 2016-built residence features a Cape Cod-style facade; in back it features a design style that voices traditional and contemporary. It contains six bedrooms and six bathrooms in its 7,400 square feet of living space, and boasts an airy open-concept floorplan allows for a seamless flow from the living room, dining room, kitchen and family room.
The shared living space is quite formal, with a subdued contemporary feel. A fireplace and tongue-and-groove ceilings add a bit of cozy cottage appeal. The family room features a coffered ceiling, and a wall of retractable glass sliders opening onto a patio.
On the bottom floor, future residents will enjoy access to a home cinema sporting a bit of color, and a large lounge space that opens to the backyard. Directly outside, the expansive lot features a built-in barbecue, a swimming pool, and a spa.
