ABC’s hit “Bachelor” franchise creator Mike Fleiss listed his escapist Malibu residence for sale this month. The warm Spanish ranch is spectacularly situated in a quiet and particularly green corner of Point Dume, and is priced at $18.75 million.

Fleiss is calling it quits with his bluff-top retreat after failing to find a renter willing to pay $75,000 per month. The executive producer paid $13.8 million for the 4,054-square-foot home back in 2016.

Tucked behind gates on more than an acre with 100 feet of bluff frontage, the home has four bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The interior is all modern. The bright white combination-style living room allows for an easy flow between the living room, dining space, family room, and kitchen.

Soaring vaulted ceilings in the living room are augmented with large skylights and wall-to-wall glass panels looking out toward the water. The minimalist kitchen isn’t extraordinarily large, but it stands out; a recent face lift has added a warm tile backsplash and slab walnut butcher-block countertops.

The exterior is the context of this one: about an acre in Point Dume, with a lush lawn, dedicated patio spaces, fire pit, swimming pool, and spa. Lovely.
