Pro footballer Randall Cobb paid $4.76 million for a Southern California mansion this month. Cobb, a mid-south native, recently sold his home in Virginia and jumped coasts. The Green Bay Packers’ wide receiver will settle into a 7,000-square-footer in the San Fernando Valley instead.
The property is situated about 30 minutes northwest of Downtown L.A. in Tarzana. A streetside impression reveals a traditional-style with a gated drive, mature trees and groomed shrubs, and a recessed enty.
Inside, Cobb’s digs have a bright and airy feel. The five-bedroom manse features a living room with coffered ceilings, a fireplace, hardwood floors, and a long wall of pocketing glass walls leading to the backyard. The living room flows directly into the incredible kitchen clad with white cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and a pair of granite-topped islands. A wine cellar, billiards room, and movie theater cover luxury essentials.
The property packs in quite a bit of perceived space into its lot size; in the rear of the property a segmented patio, a fair stretch of green, a fireplace, fire-feature and outdoor bar, and a full-sized basketball court into a fair expanse. A swimming pool with a spa and a detached guesthouse finish out the property profile.
Cobb has played for the Packers since his pro career launched in 2011.
