Actress Katie Cassidy, daughter of ‘Partridge Family’ star David Cassidy, recently listed a Los Angeles-area investment home for $2.099 million.

Cassidy purchased the heavily renovated 2,951-square-foot mid-century for $1.56 million earlier last year, so she could make a decent profit on the flip. The house is located in the Encino foothills, and has been upgraded for an urbane, rustic-luxe feel.

There is a fair amount of natural-toned wood used in the revision: wide-plank wood floors, custom kitchen cabinets, and a tongue-and-groove wall in the family room. The home uses large glass sliders for interior/exterior flow, and features a newer home automation system.

The shared living spaces employ an open-concept floor plan in a wing design, with a prominent set of double glass doors opening onto the pool area. The four bedrooms and four baths culminate in a master suite with a raised niche sleeping area; the room also uses plentiful tongue-and-groove, and features a fireplace.

Outside, a series of large terraces, a strip of faux grass, mature trees, and a swimming pool await. Views of the hills and a private back yard enhance the property.

Katie played the lead in this year’s feature “Grace”; the film fared well at the Boston Film Festival in September.
