Actor-comedian Chris D’Elia has listed his Los Angeles-area home for $2.885 million.
The star of ABC’s “The Good Doctor” paid $2.625 million for the property about two years ago, so he might be in store for a modest return on his investment.
The two-story Cape Cod-inspired residence is nestled into the hillside above Laurel Canyon. It contains three bedrooms and 3.5 baths in its span of 3,825 square feet, and features a facade defined by a duo of parallel verandas.
The first floor features excellent flow in the shared living spaces, with a combination living and dining room, kitchen, and day room presenting an appealingly open living style. The cozy feel is accented by a fireplace, dark hardwood floors, and French doors, and crown moldings add a bit of overt craftsmanship. The airy kitchen stands out with custom white cabinetry, marble countertops, a large center island, and stainless steel appliances.
The second floor finds an additional living space accented with glossy hardwood floors, a fireplace, a vaulted ceiling, and a wall of accordion doors that open to the backyard. The exterior space is almost entirely given over to terrace space, with a built-in fire pit and a swimming pool/spa adding recreational potential to the property.
D’Elia had roles in this year’s ‘Life in a Year’ and ‘Half Magic.’
