Fashionista Kym Gold recently reduced the ask on her Los Angeles-area home to $9.495 million.
The True Religion co-founder picked up the recently constructed Encino residence for $6.3 million back in 2015. Originally, she hoped to find a buyer for the East Coast-style Traditional for nearly $10 million.
The property squeezes a great deal into its .7 acre lot size. A primary residence, two-story guest house, and fairly extravagant pool are buttressed by a brick patio, a not-bad stretch of lawn, and landscaping that includes gardens and a small orchard. The property’s interior living space extends to 8,500 square feet.
A classic pitched roof, bright white exterior, and blue plantation shutters define the main house. It welcomes residents with a grand foyer and a winding staircase. The living room stands out as the main gathering space with a central fireplace, but there is also a formal dining space, a chef’s kitchen, and a family room. The guest house brings the bed/bath count to seven and ten, respectively; six of the bedrooms are suites.
Gold co-founded True Religion Jeans in 2002. She sold the company for over $800 million in 2013.
