Victoria’s Secret model Adriana Lima finally sold her Manhattan high-rise condo, but the offer she accepted was a far cry from the initial listing price of $5.5 million which the property had been saddled with at the end of 2016.

Lima wound up passing papers for $3.3 million. Not quite the hoped-for $5.5 million, but not too far from the mark from its most recent listing: a series of price cuts over the nearly two-year span from initial offering to contract had left the unit priced at $3.5 million prior to the sale. Lima picked up the condo in the winter of 2003, paying just under $2 million for it.

The 2,200 square-foot unit is located on the 42nd floor of the Met Tower. It features three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and five rooms overall. The condo’s floor plan carries the characteristically abrupt Met angularity, which may have proved to be an impediment during the marketing process. One particular corner in the shared living space makes for an extremely rugged feng shui moment.

Plentiful glass liberates, though the home’s use of dark wood/off-white contrast could stand an update; lighter floors and a bit of judicious color wouldn’t hurt in such a dramatic living space. The glossy kitchen—currently executed in stainless, mosaic tile, mirror, and moody tones—could also use a dash of life.

The standout spaces are the master—bright and optimistic—and the media room/den, with knockout zebrawood built-ins; the latter could be purposed as another bedroom.

Lima recently bade farewell to Victoria’s Secret, taking her bows on a runway this week. She spent nearly two decades enhancing the catalogs and fashion show appearances of the iconic flimsiwear company.
