TV producer Gavin Polone recently moved on from his Beverly Hills home.
Polone—who has executive producer credits on “Curb Your Enthusiasm” and “Gilmore Girls”—accepted an offer of $2.265 million for the bungalow this month. The 1950s-era Beverly Hills Post Office area home was originally listed at $2.8 million last year, but found the right buyer after a recent price cut.
Polone oversaw a number of moderate updates during his three years of ownership. For example, the 2,923-square-foot home now features a minimalist fireplace in the living room in place of a wall of stone, lightening and warming the space considerably.
Modern styling cues continue with the addition of polished concrete floors in the foyer. Further inside, the three-bedroom, 3.5-bath house boasts a family room with a fireplace, a dining space, and a chef’s kitchen with a prominent center island and granite countertops. The home’s floors are lovely, and offer a uniquely engaging series of contrasts.
The exterior is as down-to-earth, with a spacious brick patio, a dining area, and a swimming pool and spa filling out an unpretentious property.
Polone has been nominated for eight Emmy awards; seven of them were for “Curb Your Enthusiasm.”
