Married co-stars Ben McKenzie and Morena Baccarin are looking to move on from their exuberantly optimistic Manhattan condo. The duo have priced the property at $2.675 million.
The “Gotham” actors picked up the unit in Battery Park City for $2.4 million in July 2015. The 1,524-square-foot condo is located on the 15th floor of the Riverhouse complex. Riverhouse was completed in 2006, and remains one of the most desirable addresses in the city; the living style is bright, thoughtful, and slyly rather than overtly luxurious.
The unit is clean, uncluttered, and warm. Light hardwood floors get the larger share of the home’s expression, while ten-foot ceilings, and a 35-foot-long great room add a pleasing sense of space. White walls and lots of glass provide abundant reflected light.
Within the great room is a minimalist kitchen with a large center island and a dedicated dining space; open-concept, loft-style. Both bedrooms are relatively spacious and offer stellar city views, helping the unit to belie its somewhat compact measurements.
On-site parking, a full gym, a saltwater swimming pool, concierge services, and a 24-hour doorman are a few of the expected amenities at Riverhouse; Poet’s House, a 45,000 volume library of verse, is an unexpected and most welcome one.
