Ahead of the anticipated introduction of the 2020 911, Porsche surprised fans this month with a special edition of the Targa 4 GTS. The cosmetically enhanced variation will probably be only available in Germany, but its dazzle makes it worth a look.

In place of standard black accenting, the exclusive edition features Achat Gray Metallic exterior paint embellished with bright silver and metallic white gold accents. The Exclusive Manufaktur Edition T4 also receives a SportDesign package brown soft top, and 20-inch RS Spyder wheels accented with white gold metallic trim.

In the cabin, the variant gets light brown leather upholstery on the seats, door panels, steering wheel, and a dashboard accented with white gold stitching. “911” embroidered headrests, a “Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur” logo on the center console, and darker espresso leather complete the look.

The GTS’s larger turbochargers help the twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine make 443 hp and 405 lb-ft of torque.

The Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS Exclusive Manufaktur Edition will be available in Germany this winter, and is priced at about $220K.
