BMW’s highly anticipated new 2019 3-Series made waves this week at the 2018 Paris Auto Show, but no sign as of yet of the upcoming M3. What will the future of the performance 3 Series hold? We can only begin to imagine.
What we do know is that the luxury automaker introduced a set of new M Performance Parts for the 2019 3 Series. And the M parts may hold a few clues regarding the M3 refresh that’s just around the bend.
Drivers who elect the M Performance Parts for the upcoming model year’s 3 Series can expect a full aero kit with a set of 10 individual components. Titanium tailpipes are among the additions, and there’s carbon fiber a-plenty added to the mercurial 3, giving it a little visual sizzle while improving the power-to-weight ratio.
Further additions include oversized brake discs and 18- or 20-inch wheels. Of course, we can’t ignore the interior upgrades; carbon-fiber trim, custom floor mats, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and LED “M” projections when the driver’s door opens are highlights for owners craving a head-turning road presence.
Pricing information on the package TBA.
