Most of the big car companies are rolling out subscription programs, and options range from strictly utilitarian to the outer limits of plush power. The race is on to appeal to the future car buyer.

Keeping up with the Joneses is German automaker Audi, who recently announced an expansion of their own subscription offerings. The company’s new S5 Coupe and Q7 will now be available for the short term, and they both sweeten the company’s package considerably.

Unlike certain programs, customers aren’t stuck with a single vehicle. Instead, drivers have access to a fleet of vehicles and can change cars as often as twice a month. Available vehicles include the Q5, Q7, A4, A5, and S5 Coupe.

At least in Texas. The fledgling service, which is called Audi Select, is currently only available to customers located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area as Audi works out the kinks. Once they do, the service will rapidly expand in scope.

Subscription to Audi Select is available to curious Texans for $1,395 a month. Program subscribers not only have access to a variety of Audi vehicles, but also the subscription includes maintenance, roadside assistance, unlimited mileage, insurance, and more.
