Pop star Demi Lovato has reduced the ask on her Los Angeles home to $8.995 million.
Considering what has been going on in the former Disney star’s life, it doesn’t come as much of surprise that she’s looking to move on from the 5,564-square-foot Laurel Canyon home. Lovato survived an overdose in the house this past July.
The home no longer works for Lovato, but the four-bedroom, six-bathroom contemporary residence is bright, open and appealing for potential new owners. It’s set into a hillside, extends to three stories, and stands out with a stylish neutral aesthetic, light wide-plank wood floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the L.A. skyline and the ocean.
The living room features fully retractable walls of glass, and the all-white kitchen is a remarkable space with white marble countertops, a massive eat-in center island, and stainless steel appliances.
The property exterior is very amenable to entertaining, with a large terrace space, turf lawns, a dining patio and built-in grill, a gazebo, and a zero-edge swimming pool with a spa.
Lovato—who received a 2017 Grammy nomination—paid $8.3 million for the L.A. home about two years ago. The young singer is currently receiving treatment at an Arizona rehabilitation center.
