Popular MLB pitcher Zack Greinke seeks a home run of a sale as his Studio City home hits the open market once again. The Diamondbacks player recently re-listed the Los Angeles-area Craftsman home, asking $6.995 million, which is about half of a million less than his original ask when he initially offered it for sale at the beginning of the year.
Greinke—a five-time All-Star—is now pitching for Arizona, but he formerly played for both Anaheim and L.A. He purchased the 10,015-square-footer for $4.575 million just a few months after he signed a $147-million contract with the Dodgers.
The classic craftsman home spans two stories, and features tapered stone columns, maple floors, millwork, pitched ceilings, five stone-wrapped fireplaces, and clerestory windows. The seven-bedroom, 11-bath residence offers plenty of rooms to host friends and family, including a spacious living room with several sets of French doors. Entertainment amenities include a wet bar, the movie theater, and special indoor-outdoor living rooms.
The property works in a guesthouse with a game room and a garage, a nice touch for stretching out or accommodating guests. The backyard is stacked with R&R potential, with a putting green, a stone patio, and a swimming pool and spa offering outdoor options galore.
Greinke joined the Diamondbacks at the tail end of 2015.
