Reality TV producer Deirdre Gurney recently sold her Manhattan Beach home for $4.189 million.
The co-creator and producer of the popular reality TV show “Duck Dynasty” purchased the Traditional-style Los Angeles-area residence about two years ago for $2.365 million. Gurney made more than a modest return on her investment.
The 3,075-square-foot home features an exterior of whitewashed brick accented with black trim. Inside, things are generally light and airy. The residence features an expansive living room with a vaulted and beamed ceiling, a marble fireplace, and a wall of retractable glass sliders. Skylights, tongue-and-groove, and a mix of off-white and moody cool tones give the shared spaces a slick cottage appeal.
There are five bedrooms and 3.5 baths throughout the home. The blue kitchen features several skylights, pendant lighting, and a large center island. The casual family room features a set of broad French doors that open onto the property.
Lush and tranquil, the backyard impresses with a beautifully tiled custom patio and a lush rectangle of lawn.
