Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal has reduced the ask on her Hollywood Hills home to $5.8 million.
Hef paid $5 million for his wife’s Los Angeles-area abode back in 2013, to ensure she had property in her name in the event he passed away. Crystal first listed her contemporary digs in 2017, a few months after her husband’s death, plunking it on the market with a $7.2 million ask. After a judicious period off-market, the residence is once again being offered for sale, this time with a $1.4-million price reduction.
The 6,471-square-foot four-bedroom home is nestled in the hills, and boasts incredible views of the Sunset Strip and much of Hollywood beyond. It is accented with a long list of upper-end materials, including limestone, Italian tile, Brazilian walnut, white oak, copper, mahogany, and Jerusalem stone.
The home features an indoor-outdoor main living area culminating with a massive wall of retractable glass sliders. Beyond the living room, there is plenty of space to host friends or family in the open-concept kitchen/dining room/family room space. The kitchen stands out with hardwood floors, white cabinetry, and gray countertops.
The lower level of the house features a den and a luxurious screening room. Outside, there is plenty of space to enjoy some sun on the tanning deck, or a refreshing dip in the infinity swimming pool or spa.
