Actor Tobey Maguire is looking to sell a premium Los Angeles-area lot for $14.25 million.
The property occupies nearly an acre in the celebrity-filled Brentwood neighborhood. Previously, the lot used to feature a Monterey Colonial-style residence designed by John Byers, but Maguire demolished the home following his purchase of the property.
The area’s median price for a single-family home on a houselot is $2.78 million, so potential buyers will likely be drawn to the spacious plot and the freedom to construct a custom home. A similar two-acre lot sold for $22.5 million earlier this year, so it looks like the actor and savvy real-estate trader might get his ask, or more.
Maguire—who is best known for his leading roles in the “Spider-Man” movies—paid $10 million for the prime location in 2008.
