Actress and TV personality Melissa Rivers has reduced the ask on her Pacific Palisades home to $5.895 million.
Rivers purchased the luxurious Los Angeles-area home for $2.35 million about 20 years ago. She first put the property on the market for just under $6.2 million about two years ago.
The six-bedroom, 5.5-bath residence was built in the 1950s. It spans 5,850 square feet across three floors. The exterior features French and English country-house architecture, while interiors feature a lengthy series of stylistic cues that include Middle Eastern and English flourishes, panoramic and cane wall coverings, and design elements borrowing from European cottage and modern design styles.
There are three fireplaces in the home, with the library receiving one that evokes an English coal fireplace. The home also contains a den, and a series of individual bedrooms culminating in a master with a charming fireplace and French doors opening to a private terrace.
The property exterior incorporates a nice stretch of lush lawn, a stone terrace, and an infinity-edge swimming pool with spa.
Rivers published ‘Joan Rivers Confidential: The Unseen Scrapbooks, Joke Cards, Personal Files, and Photos of a Very Funny Woman Who Kept Everything’ last year. The book offers an intimate look at her mother, Joan Rivers.
