Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker List Stylish 15-Acre Home in Austin for $6M

Former professional tennis player Andy Roddick and actress wife Brooklyn Decker are no strangers to real-estate write-ups; it was just a few months ago that the couple unloaded their heavily rusticated golf-community retreat in North Carolina for $2.8 million, and back in 2015 they sold a residence in Los Angeles for $3.4 million. The couple’s family has apparently been growing, and both residences may have come up short size-wise.

The couple has decided to shuck another residence. This week, they listed a sprawling estate on the outskirts of Austin for $5.95 million. The home dates to the early 2000s, and sits on a lot that extends to more than 15 acres.

The acreage—and the surrounding landscape, which is pleasingly forested—helps sell the house, but the bright, open space and unique layout doesn’t necessarily need any assistance. The exterior architecture is an amalgam of farmhouse and contemporary, with a few craftsman design flourishes tossed in for a little extra taste, and it looks inviting, sophisticated and comfortable from outside.

Within, the home sprawls across 7,400 square feet of interior living space, with just five bedrooms throughout, and seven baths. The style is remarkably similar to the North Carolina house, although the layout has been altered to favor a multi-family accommodation; the master suite is now a guest quarters which features a set of industrial-influenced barn doors which, in and of itself, makes the home a 21st century abode. All bedrooms are en-suite, with three comprising the discreetly distant owner’s quarters, along with a family room and an office.

Roddick took home the 2003 U.S. Open title; he retired in 2012. Decker stars in this year’s upcoming ‘Support the Girls.’
