Oscar-nominated movie producer Julie Yorn recently sold her luxurious Los Angeles-area home for $5.925 million.
Yorn—who received critical acclaim for her work on “Hell or High Water”—made a good return her investment. She purchased the Brentwood home for just over $3.1 million back in 2001.
The 1930s-built Spanish Colonial-style residence holds four bedrooms and five bedrooms and is set on a little more than half of an acre. Tucked behind double gates, the 4,400-square-foot home impresses with a light and airy aesthetic thanks to white walls, arched doorways, and plenty of windows.
Beyond the bright foyer are two sitting rooms accented with wood floors and a fireplace a piece. Further inside, a spacious living room opens to a dedicated formal dining room with a coffered ceiling and a crystal chandelier.
The kitchen continues the light, contemporary aesthetic with all-white cabinets, marble and butcher-block countertops, warm hardwood floors, several windows, and a breakfast nook. Of course, the master suite is worthy of note as well with its bedroom-sized closet, luxe marble bathroom, and private balcony.
Said balcony overlooks a lush backyard complete with a tennis court, a cabana, and a swimming pool.
Yorn is currently at work producing the upcoming biopic “Jeremiah Terminator LeRoy” with Kristen Stewart as the lead.
