‘Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County’ Producer Gary Auerbach Looking to Sell Venice Bungalow for $2.1M

Reality TV producer Gary Auerbach recently put his Venice, California, bungalow on the market for $2.1 million. Auerbach paid just $315,000 for the home in the late 1990s, so he’s set to make a solid return on his investment.

Auerbach—who gained success as one of the producers of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County”—will surely miss his bright and airy Los Angeles-area residence. Built in the 1940s, the charming 1,300-square-foot home is discretely tucked behind hedges and out of sight from prying eyes. It’s also spectacularly beautiful, boasting character galore, and a layered, bohemian aesthetic.

The three-bedroom, two-bath home charms with a raised porch spanning the width of the house. Inside, future residents will likely gather in the compact open-concept living room and kitchen. The kitchen especially stands out with light cabinets, highly figured marble countertops, and stainless steel appliances.

Even though the master bedroom isn’t especially large, it does offer a decent amount of storage space thanks to three separate closets. From the master bath, the future owner will be able to access the backyard with a deck, a terrace, and a fire pit.

Auerbach has enjoyed a successful career in the entertainment business, including serving as the head of Wilshire Studios for NBCUniversal.
