Professional basketball player Chris Paul secured the “W” when it came to selling his Los Angeles-area mansion for $11.05 million.
Paul’s Mediterranean-style Calabasas, California, manse was on the market less than four months before finding the right buyer. This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise; the point guard’s 11,000-square-foot residence is located in The Estates at The Oaks enclave, and features a dazzling sense of scale.
The five-bedroom, 8.5-bath home welcomes visitors via a double-height grand entrance that leads to a formal living room complete with soaring ceilings, walls of windows, and a cozy stone fireplace. A central hallway makes a true villa of the home, with colonnade architecture embellished with a buttressed ceiling.
The living/dining area features a slightly domed ceiling clad in wood, an additional fireplace, and easy access to the nearby courtyard. The gourmet kitchen is also worthy of note with high-end appliances and a wood-fired pizza oven.
Additional spaces like an office, a hair salon, a theater, and a golf-simulation room are a few of the amenities. Outside, there are plenty of opportunities for fun thanks to a lush lawn, a basketball court, and a swimming pool. Guests have their own private residence with its own kitchenette, bedroom, and bathroom.
