Businessman and “Inspector Gadget” cartoon creator Andy Heyward recently said goodbye to his Bel-Air home.
The Genius Brands International CEO originally listed his Traditional-style home last year for $10.495 million before finally reducing his ask to $8.995 million in March. It wound up selling for $8.5 million.
The 5,580-square-foot home is preceded by a formidable-looking gate and a paver driveway. The exterior features a shingled exterior and an extended roof.
Inside, plenty of glass and an off-white execution gives the home a light, airy feel; hardwood floors provide texture and warmth, and a rustic-casual overtone. Standout spaces include a bright white kitchen, a formal dining room, a wood-paneled library, an entertainment room with a second kitchen, and a grand great room complete with a fireplace. The master suite boasts equally light aesthetic accented with French doors leading out to a private balcony. There are five bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms over all.
The property exterior is fairly expansive, and features gardens, mature trees, an infinity pool, and a deck overlooking the hills and downtown L.A.
