Business executive Meg Whitman formerly served as the CEO and president of companies like Hewlett-Packard and eBay. The successful businesswoman also makes moves in the Los Angeles-area real estate market. Her latest acquisition is a condominium in Sierra Towers.
Whitman picked up the West Hollywood condo for $6.5 million. The well-lit 2,300-square-foot holds two bedrooms and 1.75 baths, and is located in the tower’s southwest corner. The design style is contemporary; generally neutral, understated, and a little detached.
Walls of floor-to-ceiling glass panels not only flood the unit with light but also provide sprawling views of L.A. all the way out to the Pacific Ocean. The modestly sized, but beautifully styled kitchen gets a large measure of marble, with a prominent backsplash lending a sense of generous scale. The den that is currently configured as a screening room, and a long terrace extends the combined living and dining space outside.
Record label owner Elliot Grainge was the seller.
