The wi-fi speaker market is competitive these days, but luxury audio brand Bang & Olufsen is pressing ahead. The audio company has introduced updated versions of the Beosound 1 and 2 speakers to keep the models absolutely up-to-date.
The premium audio company plans to release the revisions of the two high-end speakers next month. Listeners will be happy to hear of the number of new features. The list is considerable, and includes improved echo-canceling tech via five microphones designed to recognize the speaker. Apple and Chromecast users can also easily stream their music to the updated speakers.
Most impressive to new buyers, though, is the addition of Google Assistant. Considering the popularity of devices like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, B&O made a great decision in adding the digital assistant feature. The Beosound 1 and 2 speakers will have Google Home superpowers.
As expected with B&O, the cone-shaped speakers are sleek and minimally designed so they’ll fit into any modern space.
Interested customers can purchase Beosound 1 for $1,750; Beosound 2 is available at $2,250.
