Classic luxury automaker Rolls-Royce recently introduced a new limited-edition line of vehicles that are extensively decorated with real silver, and we’re not just talking about the Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament.

The new Silver Ghost Collection is limited to just 35 examples and was created in honor of the original Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost, which dates back to 1907, when the company was young, and the automobile was, too. The Silver Ghost and its progeny, Silvers Dawn, Wraith, and Shadow, are in the canon of luxury cars. Some would argue they are the canon.

A number of visual cues were carried over from the original Ghost to create the homage, including the striking silver paintwork with a coachline painted by hand. The sleek and streamlined new Ghost shines like real silver; that’s because the paint is actually impregnated with pure silver particles.

Additionally, there are “Silver Ghost—Since 1907” engravings on the chrome wheel surrounds. Luxe styling continues inside as well with swaths of Forest Green leather, a beautiful dashboard clock, and limited-edition stamping on the door jambs.

Thankfully, the new vehicles also boast quite a bit more power than the original 40/50-horsepower model.
