Successful TV producer and game show mogul Ed Fishman recently placed his Malibu estate on the market for $23.9 million.
The angular pink beach house was designed by architect Tom Torres and takes up two lots on Escondido Beach. The 6,100-square-foot home features 130 feet of ocean frontage. The footprint is a large one.
The five-bedroom residence welcomes visitors via a lush courtyard with a koi pond. Once inside, potential buyers will be wowed by the central living space’s soaring ceilings, massive floor-to-ceiling windows, glass-enclosed fireplace, and open-concept floor plan.
Nearly every room offers incredible views of the water, and that includes the large kitchen and dedicated dining space. The kitchen’s country charm might indicate need of an update, taste depending, but it’s large enough to handle plenty of guests.
The basement of the home is fully developed, and in its current iteration features a music room and a wine cellar. The master suite is worthy of note with its large windows and ocean-front balcony. Guests will be plenty comfortable in the cozy private one-bedroom cabana.
Fishman produced classic ’70s-era game shows like “Dealer’s Choice”. He also ran a number of gaming events across the country, and co-founded Access Records label with Dick Clark.
