TV director and showrunner Jesse Bochco just purchased a home in Venice, CA for $3.778 million. The home is contemporary, and designed with a pleasing angular style.
The “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” director-producer paid nearly $30,000 over the ask in order to snag the residence. Recently built and located in the President’s Row neighborhood, Bochco’s new digs feature a layout that is at once open and eye-catching. The home was built by developer Wylan/James, and extends to 3,219 square feet.
Four bedrooms and four bathrooms offer plenty of space for housing family and friends, but residents are likely to congregate in the beautiful open-concept main living space. The contemporary combination living/dining/kitchen great room features concept ceilings, walls of floor-to-ceiling retractable doors, and a large central fireplace.
One of the most striking spaces is the double-height kitchen. Clad in bright white cabinetry, and accented with a large center island covered in luxe Corian countertops, it is liberated by a ceiling cut-out that rises through the upper floor.
The contemporary courtyard features a fireplace, and a rooftop deck perfect for a cocktail after a long day fills out the exterior space.
