Canadian auto tuners at Inkas have taken the durable 2018 Mercedes-AMG G63 and made it full-on battle ready.
The upfitters increased the length of the G-Wagen and seriously increased its shielding capabilities. Due to its new 172.2-inch wheelbase—a full 60 inches longer than standard—the SUV is now more of a limousine.
Perhaps limo-tank might be more appropriate, though, considering the vehicle is now armored to withstand a grenade blast and 7.62mm bullets. Ballistic glass and added body plating provides the protection from armed assault.
Mercedes-Benz‘ G-Class vehicles feature enough power on tap to compensate for the structural changes; this bespoke model boasts the same four-wheel-drive system and 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine setup as the standard model.
Of course, the interior is a bit more lush; features like theater seats with Alcantara, a 4K Ultra HD TV, and a bar make everyday travel more pleasant. Here’s to safety and comfort!
The Inkas G-Wagen is priced at $1.2 million.
