Bugatti drivers can add a little more sunlight to their 1,500 HP experience. The company is now offering a Sky View roof option for the Chiron.

Bugatti has made it clear that a Chiron convertible isn’t in the cards so far. But customers desiring additional illumination can choose the multi-skylight option. The two glass ceiling panels add a little liberation to the cabin feel, enhancing the motoring experience for a passenger (the driver’s concentration will likely be devoted elsewhere).

Each panel measures in at 25.6 x 17.3-in and is located directly above each of the supercar’s seats. And, the Sky View isn’t all about the light, it’s about comfort and curb weight, too; taller drivers will benefit from an additional inch of headroom above, and the panels increase the car’s stiffness.

In true Bugatti fashion, the new Sky View panels are crafted out of the best materials. The new panels carefully filter out infrared radiation and UV rays, in addition to helping reduce wind sounds and reflect heat.

The Sky View Chiron joins the other recent news from Bugatti: the debut of the Divo sports car.
