Milan Automotive has introduced a new hypercar designed to compete with the best of the best.

The Austrian carmaker’s new “Red” was designed to rival designs from big-name brands like Bugatti and Koenigsegg. To be sure, the design language of the exterior is as staunchly individual, and the Red absolutely occupies its own corner of the exotic market. The nose is particularly remarkable, suggesting massive airflow.

The car’s power comes by way of a quad-turbocharged 6.2-liter V8. The engine produces 1,306 horsepower and 1,033 pound-feet of torque. All that power is channeled to a seven-speed automatic transmission.

This superpowered setup results in competitive speeds, including a zero-to-62 mph time of just 2.47 seconds. Red’s speed tops out at around 249 mph, and gets stopping power from carbon ceramic Brembos.

Milan Automotive’s new build will be quite limited in production: only 99 examples are going to see the light of day. But, that’s all right. Red is believed to start at $2.33 million, which should limit the number of buyers, too.
