Mattress magnate Michael Fux is the recipient of the first Senna on U.S. soil.

The Sleep Innovation founder’s first-in-line status isn’t too much of a surprise for anyone who’s seen the fellow’s extravagant supercar collection. He must’ve contacted McLaren Special Operations early in the game, AMEX Black Card in hand.

The wait was probably considerable, but Fux’s Senna was worth it; it’s definitely a knockout. The color is an understated, deep green that is nearer to emerald—or Irish—green than the British Racing variety. The carbon fiber body shows its texture beneath, for a three-dimensional effect. Special red and blue center caps add a splash of color to the exterior of the unique vehicle. Inside, the green theme continues with green carbon fiber, and white leather headrests embroidered with MSO.

Beyond its striking look, the McLaren is ultra powerful thanks to a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 engine. The super-efficient powerplant can pump out 789 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, enough to propel the supercar from zero to 60 mph in a blistering 2.7 seconds.

There it is. The most recent addition to an extraordinary collection. But, perhaps Fux deserves it. Nobody would ever accuse the mattress king of sleeping behind the wheel.
