Actor Jason Bateman has expanded his real estate holdings by purchasing the house next door for $1.85 million.

Clearly interested in expanding, the “Arrested Development” actor decided to purchase his neighbor’s home instead of packing up and moving to a new property. Bateman’s new Beverly Hills home is a bit of a fixer-upper, but it’s perfectly located a stone’s throw from his existing house, which he just finished renovating.

Nestled up on a hill on nearly half of an acre, the Traditional 1930s-built residence is accessed via a long, gated driveway and boasts a terra-cotta tile roof which gives it a Spanish inflection.
