NHL sharpshooter Marian Gaborik is hoping to score big with the sale of his Manhattan Beach home for $7.25 million.
The former L.A. Kings player paid $5.55 million for the Los Angeles-area beach house back in 2014, and if he doesn’t find the right buyer, he’s willing to lease the residence for $23,000 per month. Considering its fabulous location, it’s likely he’ll have interest from buyers and renters alike.
The three-story contemporary was designed by Steve Lazar. It spans 4,260 square feet, with five bedrooms and 4.25 baths throughout. The spacious home is clearly modern with its sleek, narrow build and walls of retractable glass windows, but the interior is quite eclectic; its mix of dark woods and bright colors give it a unique sense of self.
The residence is designed with indoor-outdoor living in mind. An expansive balcony and terrace spaces connect the open-concept living spaces to the beachfront exterior living area.
Beyond his successful 18-year NHL career, which included a Stanley Cup-win, Gaborik went to the Olympics twice on behalf of his native country, Slovakia.
