There’s gold in them thar pills. So Vitaquest founder and CEO Keith Frankel may very well have opined at one point or another in the past 20-odd years. Enough gold to live on Billionaire’s Row in Palm Beach, Florida.
But vitamin king Frankel is pulling up stakes and putting his home in the ultra-exclusive neighborhood for sale, and searching for new gilded horizons. And the asking price for his slice of waterfront heaven? $61.5 million, which places it among the priciest residential in Florida at present.
Frankel had the dual-waterfront home custom built; the construction had been ongoing for several years when it was finished in 2017. As an emblem of unabashed success, the property is noteworthy: it is crowned with a grandiose, 21,300+ square-foot main home in the Caribbean villa style.
The main house uses the chevron as a motif, and the pattern crops up in floors and fireplaces throughout the seven-bedroom, fourteen-bath residence.
The home is generally quite formal, with ornate ceilings in the dining room and wood-paneled library, but may truly shine when it gives into its desire to beguile in Caribbean style; the living room with vaulted, exposed wood ceiling—which also contains one of the at least four fireplaces in the home—works very well.
Amenities are plentiful, and include a master bath with sauna, a massage room, and theater. The property exterior features frontage on both lake and ocean, and incorporates a cabana with bar, summer kitchen, a private pier on the IW, a beach cabana, and a detached guesthouse.
