Lufthansa Technik and Mercedes-Benz have partnered together for the second time to design a high-end VIP jet cabin.

The two brands’ first creation debuted at the 2015 EBACE in Geneva. They presented the new Inspired by AMG cabin design at this year’s EBACE, driving home the ongoing evolution of the partnership, and the extent of the updates.

Traditionally, luxury jets often boast classic styling with light and airy hues. Lufthansa Technik strays far from the traditional path, though. The inspiration derives from the Mercedes AMG GT C, giving the cabin a dazzling, cutting-edge look and level of performance.

Mercedes-AMG drivers might very well notice a resemblance to the automaker’s now familiar helix and Sensual Purity design elements. The new luxury cabin appears almost futuristic: smooth, soft curves, touches of carbon fiber, and plenty of grays and black define its very contemporary mood.

The Inspired by AMG VIP cabin is high-tech as well. Travelers ensconced within will be able to access flight information and entertainment screening with touch screen displays integrated into the dashboard-like panels.
