Art dealer Hillel “Helly” Nahmad has dropped $60 million on two luxurious Manhattan apartments.
Technically, a limited liability company associated with Nahmad made the purchase, but it’s safe to assume that the art collector himself will reside in the sprawling combination unit. The two apartments—listed at $25.25 million and $34.75 million—were listed at a combined price of $68.5 million, so in this case, Nahmad saved some serious cash in the deal.
If you’ve been to the city recently, you’ll know exactly where his apartment is: 432 Park Avenue. The building is, as of now, the tallest residential tower in the hemisphere, and the glassy design stands out conspicuously, dwarfing the city’s other soaring skyscrapers.
Spanning the length of an entire floor, the 8,000-square-foot apartment features enormous windows offering floods of light and incredible city views. The unit is decked out with the expected survey of luxe materials, including hardwood and marble floors. Building amenities include a lap pool, a billiards room, and a private cinema.
Notable residents of 432 Park include Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez.
