After just a year of ownership, Selena Gomez is selling her Los Angeles-area home for $2.799 million.
The multi-talented singer and actress paid $2.249 million for the Studio City property a little more than a year ago. Set behind gates and a privacy hedge, Gomez’ East Coast-inspired digs boast three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms.
Although styled with a bit of the celebrity’s own quirky flair, the home features a number of classic elements: brick floors are the standout, and sets of French doors and a few skylights enlighten and liberate.
Potential buyers will likely be drawn to the living room where a vaulted ceiling allows for plenty of a light and flows openly to the kitchen and dining room. The space also includes a large marble wet bar perfect for hosting company.
The formal sitting room features a massive skylight, high-head beadboard, wide-plank hardwood floors, and a brick fireplace. Gomez’ master suite is worthy of note as well: plenty of natural light, two walk-in closets, and a marble-clad bathroom carry the day here.
The backyard was designed with entertaining in mind, and future residents will enjoy entertainment-ready amenities like a built-in barbecue, a brick terrace, and a swimming pool and spa. There is a separate self-contained guest house on the property.
