TV producer-director Brian Robbins is looking for a buyer for his Los Angeles-area home. The property recently hit the open market with an asking price of $16.5 million.

Robbins paid $13.2 million for the house a little more than three years ago. Located on almost half an acre in the high-end Brentwood neighborhood, the luxurious mansion holds six en-suite bedrooms, and is set behind lush privacy hedges and gates.

Architect Stephen Giannetti designed the New England-inspired traditional. The interiors feature a pretty impressive series amenities, including an elevator, a generously-proportioned chef’s kitchen with a large island, an entertainment lounge, and two family rooms with wet bars.

The interior style of home keeps to the familiar; it is also executed very, very well. Stone accents and plenty of competing wood grain and tone provide fundamental texture, and high ceilings give spaces a relaxed feel. Plenty of windows allow for floods of natural light. One of the most impressive spaces is the paneled library, which features 20′ ceilings.

The exterior offers ample opportunity to relax, with stone terraces, shaded loggias, a lush yard, and a swimming pool with a spa filling out the lot. There is a two-story guesthouse on the property.

Robbins’ recent productions include ‘To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before’; the feature romance is due in theaters this summer.
