Australian golf pro Stuart Appleby has listed his Windermere, Florida, home for $3.1 million.
Appleby, who has celebrated nine PGA tour wins, paid $625,000 for the Orlando-area home back in 2009, so it’s possible he could more than quadruple his original investment. The lakefront home offers potential buyers access to a championship golf course: it is located in the exclusive Isleworth Golf and Country Club.
The 5,557-square-foot residence holds five bedrooms and six bathrooms, and is set on half an acre. In addition to expansive views of Lake Bessie from nearly every room, the home features large gathering spaces like a formal dining room, a family room, and a luxe kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.
The future owner will surely be drawn to amenities like a wooden wine cellar, a trophy room with built-in shelves, a movie theater, and a private office space. The master suite acts as the perfect sanctuary from work with its own sitting area.
The exterior impresses as well with plenty of opportunities to kick back and relax. The backyard boasts a spacious terrace, an outdoor kitchen, and a swimming pool and spa.
