Louis Vuitton Unveils New Collection Just in Time for the World Cup

Arriving just in time for the FIFA World Cup 2018, accessory marque Louis Vuitton has launched several new products. In honor of soccer’s biggest event, the design house recently debuted its FIFA World Cup official Match Ball Collection Trunk and a collection of stylish leather goods.

In collaboration with Adidas, LV developed its ball trunk, which is exactly what it sounds like—a high-end leather trunk case specially crafted to store soccer balls. The beautiful trunk holds 12 re-editions of World Cup official match balls made by Adidas, and one design from LV.

Most of us, though, are more interested in the new accessories for toting around everyday items in style. Customers will certainly be drawn to several licensed bags accented with hexagons and a special Louis Vuitton World Cup logo. Customers can select from the Keepall or Apollo style; both are available in classic Epi leather. The Keepall bags can be personalized with country-specific colors.

Additional small leather accessories were added to the collection, including luggage tags and backpacks. Smaller bags are available starting at $3,800, but the bespoke, made-to-order bags in special hues start at $170,000. Pricing for the ball trunk is only available upon request.

All this in addition to crafting the World Cup trophy case for the third time. Ah, the indefatigable Vuitton.

Look out for the new football-inspired items in LV stores starting June 14th.
