This month, Microsoft introduced their Surface Hub 2.

Just as the first-generation model, which hit the market several years ago, the second-generation digital board and display is designed to seamlessly integrate into any work space. But the first generation unit was a single screen, and Microsoft recognized that the essentially interactive and communal nature of a truly creative workforce might be enhanced by a disparate-but-connected design. Multiple-team project work would be greatly improved with such an accessory.

The Surface Hub 2, then, makes collaboration much easier, since several workers are now able to utilize the digital workspace simultaneously, but independently. It also boasts a series of stylish, thoughtful, and functional updates in the hope of generating a more dedicated customer base.

The 50.5-inch 4K touchscreen equipped with integrated speakers, far-field microphone arrays, and, of course, a built-in 4K camera. Overall, it’s smaller than the first model, but far more versatile. And, the unit’s multiple screens can be connected to create a single wall displays for presentations. Also available with the new iteration? A number of rolling stand and mount options to make the Surface Hub 2 mobile.

The Surface Hub 2 is slated for release next year. Pricing has yet to revealed.
