The New Kids on the Block band member Joey McIntyre has listed his Los Angeles home for $5.795 million.
Even though the singer-songwriter is looking for a new block to call home, he’ll might just miss this privacy-ensconced East Coast traditional. It’s located in the historic Hancock Park neighborhood of Central L.A., and has served as McIntyre and his wife Barrett’s family home since 2007.
The house was designed by architect Paul Williams, and spans roughly 4,300 square feet. It contains four bedrooms and four full baths, and two half baths throughout.
Many of the spaces have a classically accessorized feel, including the formal living room with fireplace, library with French doors, and formal dining room with chandelier. A cozy family room contain another fireplace, and opens to the expansive chef’s kitchen with a double-wide island. Built-ins, hardwood, and a foyer floored in checkerboard marble tiles enhances the effect.
The property exterior includes an outdoor eating space, a terrace, and a swimming pool and spa. There’s also a private detached guest or staff cottage on the property.
In addition to his essential role as a member of NKOTB, McIntyre has released several solo albums and has a few acting credits to his name as well.
