Aston Martin Introduces Meaner, Flashier DB11 AMR

Luxury automaker Aston Martin has debuted its sleek and powerful new DB11 AMR. The model replaces the outgoing DB11 as the top of the range for the company.

Visually, the AMR stands out with what can only be described as a sexy, more aggressive look: plenty of exposed carbon fiber mixed with glossy black details, and racing accents inside and out, present an Aston that’s overtly associated with the track; AMR, after all, stands for Aston Martin Racing.

The brand’s AMR design and engineering team also shows off its skills with a number of new upgrades in power. The 5.2-liter V12 engine hasn’t gone anywhere, but it’s been tweaked; it is now able to leap from zero to 60 mph in only 3.5 seconds, with a top speed of 208 mph. An increase of 30 horsepower to a total of 630 hp likely comes from exhaust setup upgrades and suspension and chassis revisions. Drivers can also expect increased performance from a transmission calibration.

Available starting at $241,000, the new Aston Martin DB11 AMR will hit streets this summer.
