Actor Joshua Morrow has picked up a luxurious Thousand Oaks mansion for $3.3 million.

The “The Young and the Restless” star’s new Los Angeles-area home is located on a golf course in the Lake Sherwood area. The home was originally listed for $3.8 million in August, so Morrow fared quite well on the deal.

The property abuts Lake Sherwood Country Club’s seventh hole. It’s a Traditional-style that features Federal-style flourishes. It dates to 1995, and stretches to 5,948 square feet. There are five bedrooms and 5.5 baths throughout.

The home boasts a number of classic interior design elements, most notably an excellent parquet wood floor. Recent updates to the residence have modernized it considerably. The expansive and airy kitchen decked out with marble countertops and top-of-the-line appliances is a recent revision. The kitchen opens to a warm and inviting den with a fireplace, and there are also formal dining and living rooms offering additional gathering space.

The master suite stands out with a number of added comforts. The private retreat contains a sitting area, a fireplace, custom paneling, a window seat, a massive marble bath, and a private balcony that looks down to the outdoor kitchen and dining area, and the rock-lined pool and spa.

Morrow has been a fixture on ‘The Young and the Restless’ since 1994.
