The Malibu beach house of late billionaire Jerry Perenchio is available to purchase for $13.95 million. The property is the latest, and perhaps the last, of Perenchio’s properties to hit the market following his death last year. The former CEO of Univision purchased the oceanfront residence for $3 million in 1988.
This 3,700-square-foot brick and wood home dates to the late 1920s, and holds four bedrooms and four baths. Located in the guard-gated Malibu Colony, the luxurious residence boasts bright white walls and a central living space with a fireplace and a floating spiral staircase.
The location of the house is exquisite. The large sunroom features abundant glass, and offers incredible views of the ocean. Extensive views of the coastline are also available from the private balcony located off the master suite.
An indoor-outdoor lounge with a wet bar, and a large brick patio connecting to a waterfront deck present considerable entertainment potential. The deck has stairs that lead directly to the beach.
The home joins Perenchio’s Bel-Air mansion on the open market. Priced at $350 million, that property is currently the most expensive residential listing in the country.
