BMW Plays Up M Factor With Performance Parts for ‘M2 Competition’

BMW will launch its impressive new M2 Competition soon, and with the new vehicle comes the availability of a number of model-oriented high-end M Performance Parts.

Customers should be excited to see the new M Performance Parts that were designed with weight-reduction and sporty styling in mind. And, you don’t have to own an M2 Competition to use the components.

The most exciting piece is a coil-spring suspension retrofit kit with adjustable dampers that’ll lower the M2 Competition’s suspension by 0.78 inches. Drivers can also opt for lighter 19-inch Y-spoke wheels and larger-dimension brakes complete with red-painted six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers.

The exhaust upgrade is a lighter system equipped with carbon-fiber tailpipes and a titanium rear silencer. And to enhance overall power-to-weight, a number of carbon fiber alterations bring the heft of the vehicle down; the M Performance hood and roof in varnished carbon fiber look dandy, too. As do the front splitter and rear wing options.

The M2 Performance Parts accessory upgrade extends to the electronic setup as well. The M Performance Driver Analyzer lets drivers easily keep track of engine data, brake use, and driving speed via a Bluetooth-enabled On Board Diagnostics USB stick.

All parts are available through BMW dealers.
