Actor Omar Sy recently sold his Los Angeles-area home for $4.7 million.

The French star’s former home actually now belongs to Dream Works and Amblin Partners President Jeff Small. It seems as though Small received a discount on the home, too; he paid $250,000 less than the original ask.

The traditional-style home is located on a one-acre lot, and spans 7,800 square feet. Stylish features like black brick fireplaces and monochrome elements give the space a detached feel, but the hardwood floors warm things up a little, providing good ballast for the moodiness.

The screening room is a good one, and the custom tile backsplash in the kitchen is striking, but the master suite carries the day here. Traditional in execution, with plenty of glass, a sitting area, and a fireplace, with a glass door opening onto a private terrace.

A well-landscaped yard, basketball court, and a brick-accented swimming pool with spa fill out the property.

In addition to his roles in films like “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and “Jurassic World,” Sy has an upcoming role in “Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad.”
