The Macan Turbo need make no excuses; when the model joined the ranks of performance-oriented crossover SUVs in 2014, it did so with a confidence supported by all the clout in the Porsche name. But car manufacturers have become astute at competing with aftermarket tuning companies via special editions, and beating those obsessive-compulsive types to the punch is what the Exclusive Performance Package Macan Turbo is all about.
Mechanically, the new Exclusive Performance Edition is the same as the Performance Package. However, the interior and exterior design have received quite the update thanks to Porche’s Exclusive Manufaktur department. The Macan now boasts standard LED headlights, tinted LED rear lights, and 21-inch 911 Turbo Design wheels. Drivers will also be drawn to intricately placed Carmine Red detailing.
The interior desires to dazzle, and features matching red leather accents that really pop against the black leather, as well as Alcantara inserts. Additional red detailing including red “turbo” lettering, red seat belts, and red stitching complete the look.
The Exclusive Performance Edition produces the same 440 hp as the Macan Turbo with the Performance Package, and can make the zero-t0-62 mph dash in just 4.4 seconds.
The Macan Turbo Exclusive Performance Edition isn’t available in the U.S., but select countries will see purchase availability; the enhanced model starts just north of $100,000.
