Designer and “Project Runway: All Stars” judge Isaac Mizrahi is looking for a tenant for one of his residences. The house is located in Beverly Hills, and currently available at $7,900 a month.
At 1,775 square feet, the three-bedroom, two-bath residence is compact, but its period Spanish style makes it cozy, and the turret entrance gives it a good sense of scale. It was built in 1929 and features a number of classic elements, most notably arched windows, a stone fireplace, and an alcove shower in one of the baths. Newer hardwood floors, matte-finished natural, lighten things up and add texture.
Since Mizrahi just bought the home this past December, it doesn’t boast his signature renovation style as of yet. The celebrity designer does plan to renovate the space once permits are approved.
The small kitchen and bathrooms will need updating, especially the former. One of the bathrooms, however, does boast original period tile, so it will be interesting to see if the renovation incorporates such classic flourishes.
